• 채터스 & 타미건즈 캔 회장님 소개 부탁드립니다.

  채터스 회장님은 캐나다에서 35년전에 전문 미용사로 시작하여, 현재의 채터스 캐나다를 설립한분으로 채터스 캐나다 본사의 전반적인 운영을 하시고 있습니다, 현재 채터스는 3개의 프랜차이즈 브랜드(Chatters, Apple, Tommy Gun’s)를 가지고 있습니다.
  특히 회장님은 전문적인 미용경력을 바탕으로 캐나다 및 해외 미용사들의 채용을 책임지고 있습니다.

  Mr. Ken Fisher, who founded Chatters in Canada as a hair stylist 5 years ago, is President of ChattersCanada who has managed overall business operation of Chatters Canada. And Chatters Canada has become to have 3 hair franchising brands such as Chatters, Apple and Tommy Gun’s for men. In addition. due to his long profession in hairstyling, he has been still in charge of recruiting or hiring professional hairstylists in Canada and/or foreign counties.

  채터스 회사는 캐나다에서 가장큰 미용 프랜차이즈 회사로, 캐나다에서 현재 약 1800명의 전문 미용사가 채터스 캐나다에서 근무를 하고 있으며, 특히 로레알 회사와 파트너로 채터스 미용사분들에게 지속적인 미용교육을 제공하고 있습니다, 또한 호주에서 가장 큰 미용 프랜차이즈 (약 1500명 미용사 근무)를 인수를 통하여, 향후 지속적으로 캐나다 및 호주에서 근무할 우수한 한국 미용사분들을 채용할 계획으로 있습니다.

  Chatters Canada is the biggest hair salon franchising company in Canada with over 1,800 professional hairstylists across Canada. And specially, Chatters has been providing chatters hairstylists with continuous beauty/hairstyling education under joint partnership of Loreal International. And recently, as Chatters will manage one of the biggest hair salon franchise with over 1,500 hairstylists in Australia, Chatters has a big plan to employ more qualified Korean hairstylists who wish to join Chatters in Canada and Australia.

• 이안아카데미의 인연을 현재 어떻게 진행되고 있는지요?

  이안아카데미의 해외/캐나다 교육프로그램을 통하여 상호 협력을 하고 있으며, 채터스 캐나다회사는 이안아카데미의 교육생에게 지속적으로 한국 테스트를 통하여 채용하고자 합니다.

  Through IAN ACADEMY training program to hairstylists for overseas employment to Canada, Chatters has been working together with IAN ACADEMY and will continue to recruit and employ more qualified hairstylists through Chatters testing in Korea.

• 한국 이안아카데미에서 테스트를 통해 채터스 & 타미건즈 근무자를 채용하는 이유를 알려주세요.

  한국 이안아카데미에서 실시하고 있는 해외 교육 프로그램이, 해외 캐나다 근무를 희망하고자 하는 한국 미용사분들에게 꼭 필요한 교육을 제공하므로, 이안아카데미의 졸업생들을 대상으로 테스트를 통하여 채용하고 있습니다.

  As overseas training program by IAN ACADEMY provides Korean hairstylists with essential education that they must have in working as a hair stylist in Canada, Chatters are currently employing them with such education from IAN ACADEMY through our testing in Korea.

• 이안아카데미를 통해 채터스사에 근무하는 학생들의 현황을 알려주세요.
  (A 생활환경 B 근무평가 C 적응도 D 매출 E 평균급여)

  A. 채용된 미용사분들은 BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan 주에서 대부분 근무를 하고 있으며, 모두 잘 생활환경에 적응하고 있음.

  B. 근무 평가는 배치된 매장 매니저 및 지역 매니저에게 근무 평가가 이루어지며, 초기 6개월 동안의 현지 적응 기간을 지나면 대부분 채터스 미용사의 일원으로 하고 있으며, 전체적인 근무평가는 우수하며 일부는 매우 우수한 분들도 나오고 있습니다.

  D. 매출: 매출은 근무 지역 및 디자인등의 능력에 따라 차이가 있으며, 현지 적응후 본인들의 적응 및 디자인 능력에 따라 년 소득 5만~7만불.

  E. 평균 급여: 초기 고용계약시, 평균 계약 급여는, 년 3만불 (하루 8시간, 주5일근무 기준) / 참고로 근무 6개월후 본인의 능력에 따라 급여 책정.

  A. Since employed by Chatters, most of Korean hairstylists have been working at Chatters in B.C. Alberta and Saskatchewan province in Canada and well adjusted in the place where they are currently working in Canada.

  B. the evaluation of working for Korea Hairstylists done by local manager who is in charge. after first 6 months adjusting period, most of them are working as a regular member of regular staff in Chatters hair salons. So far most of them got high evaluation and some of them got excellent remarks in Chatters.

  C. Adaptive level in Canada not easy in first 6 months for most of Korean hairstylists. the most important factor is English capability for getting adaptive in Canada.

  D. Income it depends on each hair stylist’s skill level and location that they were assigned. After getting adjusted in Canada, Korean hair stylists could earn total income in the amount of 50,000 to 70.000 per year based on their hairstyling level or capability.

  E. Average Salary basic average salary offered in the first stage is 30,000 per year in Canada dollar (8 hours per day, 5days per week). After 6 months, their income level or commission could be adjusted by their local manager based on their performance.

• 미용인이 캐나다에서 직업군으로 어떠한 혜택이 있으며 어떠한 비젼이 있을까요?

  캐나다에서 미용사는 전문인으로 인정을 받고 있으며, 해외 근무자는 영주권 신청이 가능합니다.

  In Canada, a hair stylist is rogerded and accepted as professional job and can apply for permanent visa in Canada.

• 현재 채터스 & 타미건즈 취업을 준비중인 분들에게 꼭 전하고 싶은 메시지를 말씀해주세요.

  캐나다 근무에서 영어 능력 향상을 출국전에 미리 준비하는 것이 캐나다 현지 적응에 제일 중요하며, 가능하다면 이안아카데미 교육이수후 합격자들은 워크비자 나오기 전까지 10개월정도의 시간이 있으므로 그시간 최소 3개월 영어권 나라의 학교에서 영어 연수를 추천합니다.

  It is very important that Korean hairstylists have to study hard & enhence their English Skill to work in Canada before they depart to Canada. Chatters highly recommend Korean hairstylists (selected and employed by Chatters) to take at least 3 months full English Class course in one of English Speaking countries as it takes normally about 10 menths for their working visa.
